We love the taste of <g id=\"gid_0\">this cookie<\/g> and, of course, <g id=\"gid_1\"><g id=\"gid_2\">vodka<\/g><\/g>. Why choose when you can have both?   <\/p>\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s go back in time for a moment. The stroopwafel was first made in the 17th century. The batter was placed in a waffle iron and held over an open fire. It was precise and patient work. To prevent the thin batter from burning, the ladies had to stop chatting. In the kitchen, they would shout &#8220;hou je waffel!&#8221; which also means &#8216;keep your attention on the waffle&#8217;.       <\/p>\n\n<p>We made the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amsterdamrepublic.com\/en\/product\/dutch-stroopwafel-liqueur\/\" data-type=\"product\" data-id=\"7323\">Dutch Stroopwafel<\/a> based on our Premium Vodka.
