Voici l\u2019explication. En 1948, Calv\u00e9 a import\u00e9 le \u00ab Peanut butter \u00bb des \u00c9tats-Unis aux Pays-Bas. Le mot \u00ab butter \u00bb ne pouvait pas \u00eatre traduit par \u00ab boter \u00bb (beurre) car c\u2019\u00e9tait un nom prot\u00e9g\u00e9. Le mot beurre ne pouvait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 que pour le <a href=\"https:\/\/nl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Boter_(zuivel)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beurre de baratte<\/a>.     <\/p>\n\n<p>Mais alors pourquoi \u00ab fromage \u00bb ? Le \u00ab leverkaas \u00bb (p\u00e2t\u00e9 de foie) \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s populaire \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque ; il ne contient pas non plus de fromage, mais il \u00e9tait fabriqu\u00e9 en forme de bloc de fromage. Pour surfer sur cette popularit\u00e9, on l\u2019a appel\u00e9 \u00ab pindakaas \u00bb.
