Even if you don’t know the Vodka Screwdriver cocktail, you have probably already drunk this cocktail once as a mix. It is in fact the cocktail name for the well-known mixed drink vodka – gravy. The name comes from the American expatriates who worked in the oil industry in the strictly religious Dubai. Between breaks, they secretly mixed their drink (orange juice) with vodka. You guessed it, they stirred it with their screwdrivers. Hence the name!
